I recently moved to Clarkston, MI. I love the location and the community, but the best part has to be living so close to family, especially my nieces.

Hello, my name is Robin Scrace. I’m thrilled to be the new Office Manager at Senter, CPA, and I would love to introduce myself, as well as share a little of my heart with you.

I grew up just 13 miles northwest of Clarkston, in Holly, MI, with my parents, my older brother and two sisters (one older and one younger). My deep value for family as well as serving others has woven itself into every chapter of my life.

While earning my Associate degree at Oakland Community College, my passion for serving others led to my involvement at a community outreach center in Waterford, MI from 2008-2011. The central focus of the center was tending to the needs of the children in the community – most of whom were either in the foster system and/or had very unhealthy, unstable home lives.

From there I went on a number of missions trips, most of which were 7-10 day trips to El Salvador and Germany. In 2010 I traveled to 11+ countries with a group of about 50 persons through an organization called Adventures in Missions. Over the course of those 7 months, our goal was the same with each country we entered – to partner with local organizations and offer our services to fill a need. We distributed food and clothing to the homeless, built schools and orphanages, painted buildings, did various construction projects and farming, visited children in hospitals and orphanages, taught English classes, and more.

After returning to the states in 2013, I spent the next six years working as the Operations Manager for an online golf business. During that time, I refined my office, management, and client-service skills. Knowing I was also looking for a deeper level of growth and development, my then-employer enrolled me in Dale Carnegie’s ‘Effective Communications & Human Relations’ course in 2016. Then, in 2017 I spent 9 months training to become a certified, professional Life Coach through IPEC. I am so grateful for the experience and the skills I’ve gained through both Dale Carnegie and IPEC, as I know they will continue to benefit myself, as well as those I encounter, in every area and walk of life.

I have found the words of U.S. Army veteran John Holmes to ring most true when he said, “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” Whether a child at an outreach center, a stranger on the streets of a third-world country, or a client at work, people have always been the heartbeat behind everything I do. I am passionate about putting my heart in my work and executing it with excellence. I feel so honored to be a part of the Senter, CPA team, where the value for excellence and passion for people are at the forefront of all that they do.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I am sincerely looking forward to serving you.

How to Document Charitable Donations for Tax Deductions

Accurate documentation is essential when claiming charitable contributions on your tax return. The IRS requires specific records depending on the type and value of your donations. Maintaining proper records ensures your contributions are deductible and helps you avoid issues if your return is ever reviewed.

2025 Individual Tax Return Process

At Senter, CPA, our goal is to make your tax preparation experience as seamless and efficient as possible.

What are QCD’s?

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) are a tax-efficient way for eligible IRA owners to support charitable organizations while managing taxable income. Individuals who are age 70½ or older may donate up to $108,000 in 2025 directly from a traditional IRA to a qualified charity. When structured properly, a QCD is excluded from taxable income, may satisfy Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) requirements, and can help reduce overall tax liability.

Common Tax Documentation for 2025 Tax Season

Getting your tax documents organized for your preparer can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. One of the most common questions we hear is, “What documents do I need for my individual tax return?”

New Schedule C Excel Worksheet For 2025

If you file Schedule C as a sole proprietor or single-member LLC, you already know how detailed the IRS can be. The form requires a thorough breakdown of your business income and expenses, leaving little room for guesswork. Schedule C is the primary IRS form used to report your business’s profit or loss and completing it accurately is essential for both compliance and tax planning.

New Schedule E Excel Worksheet For 2025

If you report rental income on Schedule E, you already know the IRS wants your numbers broken out by category and by property.
