Rosemary Shamoon

Staff Accountant

Hello, my name is Rosemary Shamoon, but everyone calls me Rosie. I am so excited to join the Senter, CPA team as a Staff Accountant and would love to introduce myself.

I am 26 years old, and I was born and raised in Michigan. I went to Wayne State University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with my major being accounting. I also earned my Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University. I have always had a passion for this industry, and it grew more as I got older. I am passionate about my career, and I love being able to help others.

I recently got married on 9/24/21 (one day after my birthday) which was amazing. We had a destination wedding in Florida, which was the best decision I ever made; it was such an incredible time for my husband and I. We had fun celebrating my birthday and wedding with our closest friends and family.

I enjoy traveling the world. I love learning about the different cultures and eating the different types of food. My favorite place to visit is Greece, but more specifically the islands of Santorini and Mykonos in Greece are my favorite! Traveling really opens your eyes to how other people in different parts of the world live.

I love spending time with my husband, Simon, and my family. I have three sisters: Samantha (31), Lourdes (24), and Bernadette (17), and they are also my best friends. We are extremely close and spend a lot of time together. Samantha is the mother of my niece, Ave, and nephew, Eli, who is also my godson. I currently do not have kids, but I feel like they are my kids because of how close we are.

I am excited to continue my career here at Senter, CPA, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the future!

Things I love to do:

  • Binge watch TV shows
  • Spend time with my husband (Simon)
  • Online shopping
  • Traveling
  • Spend time with my niece (Ave, 3) and my nephew (Eli, 1)
