The Rotary Club of Clarkston Needs YOU

by | Oct 13, 2023 | Community, Team

Dear Clarkston Community,

The Rotary Club of Clarkston is having their ANNUAL Fall Wine Party and we are in search of donations for our Silent Auction and Raffle tables. I know it’s short notice but ideally, we would like have these items before 10/21 so we have time to process, log and prepare them for the event.

Items that typically work well at this event:

  • Items produced or sold by your company
  • Gift baskets designed with items of your choosing with your swag
  • Golf and or event packages
  • Gift cards
  • Our motto is “add a bottle of wine to it” and it makes a good auction item
  • We’d be happy to discuss any ideas with you
  • Items that have worked well in the past: backpack blower, grills, lawn furniture, golf packages, event tickets, art, gift baskets of most items, food and treats, alcohol baskets, sports memorabilia and other cool things people would love to buy at auction.

Benefits for you:

  • Advertising: name recognition on the donation table with an item of your donation that will be browsed by 300 – 500 attendees over the course of 2 hours
  • Support of our wonderful Rotary Club and many community projects

Benefits for our club: (this is our largest fundraiser to support our community projects such as the following)

  • Shoes for Kids: providing shoes, boots, hats and gloves to 300+ local children each year
  • Books for Kids: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (Clarkston) providing a free book each month to children ages 0-5 in the 3 Clarkston Zip codes (over 700 kids are currently registered)
  • Local in-bound and out-bound exchange students
  • New Peace Pole Installed at Depot Park: https://clarkstonnews.com/peace-pole-in-clarkston/
