Summer Reminder: Don’t Forget Your Estimated Taxes!

by | Jun 8, 2026 | Accounting, Tax

We know—writing a check to the IRS and State is probably not on your summer bucket list. However, if you’re self-employed, have a side hustle, or earn income without taxes automatically withheld, this is your friendly nudge: estimated tax payments are due throughout the year…even in the middle of summer.

Making these smaller payments now can help you avoid one big, painful surprise later (and possibly penalties too).

Deadlines are April 15th, June 15th, September 15th & January 15th.

If your income has changed recently, now’s a great time to double-check what you should be paying. A quick adjustment today can save you a headache next spring.

So, between the sunshine and fun, take a minute to knock this off your list. Future you will be very glad you did.

And as always, if you’re not sure what to pay, just reach out. The Senter, CPA team has got you covered.
