Unsure how to make your upcoming estimated tax payment? Here’s how.
Most folks don’t like to pay taxes, nor pay them quarterly, especially if they’re experiencing economic hardships due to COVID-19. However, you don’t want to end up paying additional money in the form of late payment penalties and interest.
As most know, the current due date for 1st and 2nd Quarter 2020 estimates are both due July 15, 2020. If you’d like to know more from the IRS regarding who must pay, how to figure estimated taxes, and safe harbor thresholds you can see that HERE.
Here’s how to make those payments: (click the links in orange)
- Print and mail the old fashioned way
- Direct pay (directly from your bank account)
- Debit Card or Credit Card options
- EFTPS The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (touted by the IRS as the easiest way to pay all your federal taxes)
